What this covers

This policy explains what SafeStay does with information you give us through getsafestay.com. It does not cover information collected in connection with an insurance policy or claim, which will be governed by the notices provided at that time.

What we collect

  • Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, and any of the optional fields you choose to complete, such as company, phone number, number of properties, markets, current coverage and free-text notes.
  • Basic technical information. Our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and performance purposes.

We do not use advertising trackers on this site, and we do not run marketing cookies.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and follow up about coverage.
  • To understand what visitors are looking for so we can improve the site.
  • To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Who processes it for us

We use service providers who process information on our behalf, under contract and only for the purposes above. Today these are our form provider (Formspree), our hosting provider (Vercel) and our email and document provider (Google Workspace). If you contact us about coverage, we may share your details with the insurance carrier or administrator involved in providing that coverage.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the enquiry, and then for as long as required by applicable law.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information you have given us, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing the address below. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law, and we will honour those.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
